QuickBooks Class Feb 24th & March 3rd

Chamber of Commerce Offers QUICKBOOKS Classes Scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 24th & March 3rd

There is still space available in our next QuickBooks Seminar. This two-part QuickBooks Training Seminar will be held Wednesday, Feb. 24th & March 3rd from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with a one-hour dinner break (on your own, several restaurants in immediate area). The class will be held in the Lake Stevens Fire Station 82 Board Room, 9811 Chapel Hill Road, Lake Stevens, WA 98258.

The cost is only $40 for both sessions for Chamber members and $100 for non-members. The cost includes a Student Manual (approximately 350 pages) provided in Word Format on a CD. Printed manuals can be purchased for an additional cost of $10, and must be ordered in advance.

Those who register are encouraged to bring a laptop as there will be a demonstration CD provided. At our first set of classes, some found using the laptop to be helpful, and others found it easier to listen and watch the instructors projected screen and take notes. If you attend and complete both presentations you will receive a "Certificate of Completion" from our certified instructor.

We have had some excellent comments from students in the previous class. Because our instructor is also a certified bookkeeper with a background in business bookkeeping, she is very good at fielding any questions that come up pertaining to using QuickBooks for your business.

The class consists of 4 segments that will cover the following:

February 24th: Segment 1 QB Initial Set Up
                              Segment 2 Income & Purchases
March 3rd:      Segment 3 Basics of Financial Statements & Sales Tax Basics
                              Segment 4 Basics of Payroll

Register and make payments online, or contact the Chamber office with questions or to register - 425.334.0433 or info@lakestevenschamber.com. The class is limited to only 30 participants, so reserve early!
