Bill and Irene Clough arrived
in our community in 1992 and it wasn’t long
before Bill was a household name; if anyone
needed help, they could call Bill. Bill brought
with him a love of life and community family.
Bill spent countless hours recording a video
history of Lake Stevens.
He was full of character, honesty, integrity
commitment and the joy of helping others. Bill
had the ability to excite people and bring folks
together for the better of our community.
Wherever there was a need you would find him.
Bill was named Citizen of the Year his first
year in Lake Stevens. He has also been named as
Kiwanian of the Year and Business Leader of the
Year. As project director and chairman of the
building committee he was instrumental in
building the Holy Cross Catholic Church located
at 6915 State Route 92 near Lochsloy – Bill held
this as one of his biggest accomplishments. He
was a great asset to our community and will be
missed.
