Monthly Chamber Luncheon
The Chamber's monthly luncheons are usually held on the second Monday of each month at 11:30 AM at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center, 12309 22nd Street NE, Lake Stevens, WA. Our next luncheon is scheduled for Monday, September 13th.
Member Price $10, Non-Members $15.

The next regularly scheduled Chamber luncheon on Monday, September 13th at 11:30 a.m. will include our annual Candidates’ Forum. We have invited the candidates running for positions in Congressional District 2 and Legislative District 44 and invite our members and the public to come and hear what they have to say.
This informal setting will provide business leaders and community members an opportunity to meet the candidates running for office in the November election. Each candidate will have an opportunity to share their views and goals as a prospective elected official and field questions compiled by a Chamber committee as well as the audience members. Come with your questions and be an informed voter.
The forum is free of charge and is open to the general public; the cost for lunch is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. RSVP is mandatory for lunch to ensure enough meals are provided.

Lake Stevens Library Book Group ~ Wednesday, September 15th at 7:00 p.m. Join the discussion of “This House of Sky” by Ivan Doig. For adults.
Passport to Adventure ~ Saturdays from June 19th - September 11th. Come and explore Sno-Isle Libraries! Our passport will include activities such as visiting other libraries and discovering the many advantages our Web site has to offer. Keep track of your progress with stamps in your adventure passport journal. Earn prizes and have fun! Pick up your journals at the desk on or after June 19. Supported by the Friends of the Lake Stevens Library. This event is part of our Summer Reading series.
Ready Readers Family Storytime ~ September 9th – 30th on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Stories, songs and activities to help develop reading readiness. A playtime or craft may follow. For ages 18 months and up with caregiver. Supported by the Friends of the Lake Stevens Library.
Sing Into Reading ~ Friday, September 24 at 1:00 p.m. Nancy Stewart invites children, their parents and caregivers to sing and play with words-- then take home fun ways to reinforce the 6 Early Literacy skills.

Join the Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, September 15, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the LSSD Educational Services Center to learn the business benefits, tips and tricks of Windows 7 and Office 2010.

Please join the Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, September 30th from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (doors open at 7:00) at the Lake Stevens Fire Conference Center, 10518 18th St. SE, Lake Stevens, WA 98258 for a morning of fun filled networking, meeting other business professionals from the greater Lake Stevens area and our neighbors in Snohomish, Everett, Monroe, Marysville and Granite Falls.
The cost is $20 for members of any local chamber & $25 for non-chamber members with a $5 discount if reservation is paid by Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010. Your registration payment includes a full breakfast. There are also display tables available for you to display your business information for a small fee of $20.
